Spring Summer 2009 is finally here – Look Book at Matches!

The brand new spring summer ’09 collections have hit the stores and to make life a bit easier for us, the folks at Matches Fashion have put together their lovely Spring Summer 2009 look book for us all!

Featuring some of the best and more fabulous designers of all times – such as our favourite enfant terrible Alexander McQueen who’s SS ’09 collection features some lovely investment dresses and very wearable pieces indeed, the sexy Brian Atwood with his equally sexy shoe collection, the everlasting Diane Von Furstenberg with a fabulously colourful DVF Collection, the eternally gifted Nicolas Ghesquiere at Balenciaga who creates one must-have after the other AND the new LANVIN collection by fashion genius Alber Elbaz.

Anyone who has seen any of Alber Elbaz’s SS ’09 Lanvin collection knows the pieces are absolutely to die for – gorgeous and lush colours, slim cropped trousers with elaborate blouses and the most eleganty draped fabrics creating the most fabulous evening dresses (this man sure knows how to drape fabric like none other!) – all those lovely things you never you waned but you now absolutely crave!

Just in case you had no idea AT ALL what SS ’09 has in store for you, have a look at these few examples just to get you started (while we work on bringing you more of our absolute favourite pieces over the coming days and weeks!):
